UVC Germicidal Irradiation for Air Handling Units (Commercial).

The V-Mod 's flexible design allows for ease of installation in almost any system, large or small. V-Mod fixtures plug one into the other in series, in any combination, which eliminates individual wiring to each fixture. Three nominal lengths (18”, 24” & 36”) can accommodate almost any system installation. The V-Mod functions as either a “side access” fixturing system or a traditional “built-up bank” arrangement. This is made possible through the use of an exclusive stainless steel channel “mounting rail” and fixture design. The combination becomes an optional sliding mechanism when needed. The V-Mod may be installed to irradiate coils and drain pans where they degrade organic and microbial build-up to save significant energy and maintenance costs. They are also used in return and supply ducts, mixed air plenums, to irradiate filters, and in exhaust systems. Once installed, the fixture position can be permanently fixed left to slide out of the plenum through an access panel. The V-Mod comes with a UL/C-UL Listed Hardwire Module of NEC conformity and a mounting rail.

UVC Lamp and fixture are factory-assembled and tested. They consist of a housing, power source, lamp sockets and lamp. All components are constructed to withstand typical HVAC environments. They are UL/C-UL Listed under Category Code ABQK (Accessories, Air Duct Mounted), UL Standards: 153, 1598 & 1995, respectively.

Housing is constructed of type 304stainless steel and is equipped with both male and female power plugs— one type at each end to facilitate simple fixture to fixture plug-in (coupling) for A/C power. Fixtures may be used as built-up or as side access, as required or as shown in the plans. Each fixture incorporates all components into one integral assembly that maximizes serviceability. Fixtures are designed to be mounted anywhere in an HVAC system or as shown on the plans.

Power Sources is an electronic, high frequency, rapid-type with overload protection. It’s available in 120V and is reliability at UL/C-UL Listed temperatures of 55-135°F. It includes exclusive RF and EMI suppression.
