UVIAIRE’s FGA unit is an Ozone Generator producing high volume of ozone via the corona discharge method. Air is drawn through a blower fan across the corona plates powered by high tension transformers. The oxygen in the air is converted into ozone which is discharged through the 100mm diameter nozzle into the desired area where the ozone reacts with contaminants. All the electronic components and power supply are in a separate compartment, out of the airstream. A hydrophobic prefilter ensures dry clean air the corona discharge plates.

Remarks: Air Flow handling capacity depends on odor level. For heavier odor, a ratio of the maximum airflow is considered. Hence the air handling capacity shall be reduced to 0.25 for heavy odor and 0.5 for medium odor problem. For light odor, the Maximum airflow capacity applies.

The POG7000A takes in oxygen (O2) from the air and convert it to ozone (O3) which attacks bacteria, virus and various organic molecules and pathogens in the air and materials. It is a “suicidal” molecule looking for contaminants to attack, oxidizing them and eventually destroying itself in the process. Ozone has a very short lifespan and will last 15-20 minutes in ambient temperature before returning to “normal” oxygen.
The POG7000A is light and portable, can be moved from room to room and is simple to operate. There are no confusing digital switches and timers to set. The controls are simple: On Position /Off Position and Timer mode (in blocks of 15mins to 2 hours). This convenient operation is especially useful for hotels, hospitals, restaurants, gymnasiums, kitchens, changing rooms etc.
This unit has a fan that circulates the ozone into the area to be treated. There is no costly or harmful chemical to replace and maintenance is minimal. It replaces other often ineffective method of odour control such as constant fresh air replenishment with consequent heat or cold air loss, or “deodorizing” by masking odours with artificial fragrances.
